DOING PINDA PITHRU THARPANAM NEAR SRI RENGAM

Giving Pithru Tharpanam on the banks of River Cauvery:

1. "Amma Mandapam" is loacted on the northern banks of River Cauvery. It is just 1/2 km away from the famous Lord Renganathar Temple loacted in Srirengam (an island within the river Cauvery).

2. The Srirengam is loacted within the Corporation limits of Tiruchi (Trichy/Tiruchirapalli) in central Tamilnadu. This town is easily accessible by Road/Rail/Air from Chennai/Bangalore.

3. The "Lord Renganatha Perumal" temple is one of the ancient and important Vaishnavite temples in India.

4. Major express trains halt at Srirengam Railway station before entering the Tiruchi Junction, while on its way from Chennai.

5. There are number of Lodges available both near the temple (in Srirengam) or near the Tiruchi Junction. The Amma Mandapam is about 5 Kms from the Tiruchi Junction. Route No 1 are available frequently (one bus for every 5 minutes) from Junction to Srirengam.

PINDA NOOL DOSHAM

Dosham occuring due to the Death:  If a death occurs on a day with following Nakshatra, then the death brings "Pinda Nool Dosha" to the remaining members of the family. 1. Kettai - Jyestha 2.
