Why should you pay for the sins of our ancestors?

Many would have the following questions in their mind about the "Pitra Dosha"

1. Why I should pay for the sins of the ancestors?

2. I live in a morally and ethically correct? Then why I should be affected by the "Pitra Dosha"?

3. Many non-hindus are there; and they don't know anything about the "Pitra Dosha"' but still living happily! Why only I should get affected, just because I had born as a Hindu?

Let us find the answers for all these questions:

As per the Hindu Religion, everybody does good and bad things during their lifetime. You earn good Karma for your good deeds; and earn bad karma for your wrongful deeds. A soul must delete both good karma and also the bad karma during its lifetime that it had earned in its previous birth.

Good deeds would be rewarded in the following manner:

1. Geeting born to an excellent parent; and family structure

2. Getting born with an excellent mental & physical health

3. Growing up in an wonderful environment

4. Getting proper guidance about the way of life right from the childhood.

5. Getting the best opportunity to learn the skills, talents and knowledge.

6. Possessing enough wealth to sustain a decent living.

7. Getting married to a wonderful life partner

8. Gift of possessing wonderful children

9. Effortless death.

Bad deeds are rewarded in the following manner:

1. Getting born in a disgraceful manner.

2. Posessing various physical and mental health troubles

3. Growing up in a hateful environment.

4. Getting wrong guidance about the "way of life" from various peoples which includes the Parents too.

5. Inability to learn (or) learning all the evils.

6. Struggling to maintain the day to day lifestyle.

7. Facing dishonor, decit (or) sufferings through the life partner.

8. Facing humilation (or) sufferings through the children.

9. Struggling in the death bed.

Conclusion: A soul gets a life in this world, based on its own actions and behaviour during the previous earth @ the God doesn't create a division (or) separation on the Humans in this World. A Soul decide its own destiny through its actions and behaviours.

A Soul would chose its family structure, mental health, physical health, knowledge, wealth and even its death by its own actions during the previous lifetime. The Good karma earned in the previous life would become the "Yoga" (or) "yog"; and the Bad Karma gets converted in the form of "Dosha" (or) "dosh" in the "Horoscope" of the present day life of the Soul. That is, the Soul itself writes the next form of lifestyle through its actions and behaviours (done in the previous life) in the present day Horoscope.

A person gets punished for his/her wrongdoings by getting born in a family that had done all the misdeeds and earned higher level of Pitra Dosha; only through its actions and behaviours during the earlier lifetime. That is, the Soul would have enough "Bad Karma" in its kitty to go through all kind of sufferings to be qualified to be born in a family that had been seriously affected by the "Pitra Dosha"

Logic is that: A Soul would chose its own place, own time and own people to face its destiny. The God is equal to everyone; and the God doesn't create a division among the natives as such:

1. Healthy (or) unhealthy

2. Wealthy (or) Poor

3. Good family structure (or) not

The Horoscope is drawn while the Soul takes its form in its mother womb with its own good and bad karma, Whether the Soul likes it (or) not, the Soul needs to enjoy the benefits of its good karma; and face the sufferings of its own bad karma. That is, the Soul would enjoy the benefits of its good karma and face the sufferings due to its bad karma, irrespective of living in an ethical (or) unethical manner during its present life. The actions and behaviours during the current life gets translated into good & bad karmas; and carried forward to its next form of life.

1. Everyone are paying for their own deeds; and not facing the music for the wrong deeds of their ancestors. If you are carrying good karmas more, then you would be born automatically in a family with less (or) insignificant level of Pitra Dosha. If you possess more of bad karmas, then you need to be born in a family that already possess truck load of "Pitra Dosha".

2. Living ethically and morally correct during the current lifetime is a gurantee to have wonderful life during the next birth.

3. Your Horoscopes works very well during the entire lifetime; and the results are calculated well in advance before your birth. Hence, you need to go through the sufferings (due to your previous life's bad karma) despite living a honest life now. But living honestly would ensure a good life at the next birth.

4. Pariharam for Pitra Dosha would minimize the ill-effects of your dosha in your Horoscope; but would not altogether change your current lifestyle.

5. Bag as much of good Karma for your next birth, by living in an ethically and morally correct manner during the current lifetime.

6. Getting born to an excellent Parents and enjoying wonderful family relationships; and getting proper guidance right from the birth would automatically create a condition that could avoid facing a re-birth into this world.

7. The Soul would be able to avoid passing through the Birth and Death cycle; and ensure a stable and comfortable place in the eternal world itself; where there is no pain (or) agony (or) sufferings.

8. The Soul would not get the chance to learn about the good (or) bad Karma; (or) will not believe in this theory of "re-birth & Karma", if it had carried forward more bad Karmas from its previous birth. *The Soul would enjoy its life in an excellent form, till it depletes its good Karma; despite the fact that the Soul does not believe in the theory of "Karma" (or) even if it lives in an unthical manner.

We have seen number of peoples getting affeted in their life despite performing Pitra Dosha Pariharam in an excellent manner. Some of the peoples, would perform Tharpanam (monthly basis) and Shraddam (yearly basis) with a clock-wise precision. Still they suffer from the malefic effects of the Pitra Dosh. Let us see the reason behind the failure of Pithru Dosha Pariharam.

1. If a person fails to look after his aged parents and/or aged in-laws and/or any aged person in the family. Please note that looking after the aged people doesn't mean that sending money to them on regular basis or placing them in an Old Age Home. If the aged people are isolated and compelled to live in isolation is like inviting a disaster to themselves and to the future generations. The Pitra Puja or Pitra Pariharam will not yield any results to the family, where the aged people are isolated or insulted or forced to fend for themselves.

2. The Pitru Dosha Pariharam will not deliver any results, if the person lives in a house (rented or owned) which is built on the land by enroaching any water bodies.

3. The Pitru Dosha Pariharam will not deliver any results, if the person lives in a house (rented or owned) which is built on any type of land, which was earlier used by the Public or built by obstructing the public usage.

4. The  Pitru Dosha Pariharam will not deliver any results, if the person lives in a house (rented or owned) which is built by enroaching the land owned by any temples or trusts.

5. The  Pitru Dosha Pariharam will not deliver any results, if the property issues are not resolved between the siblings.

6. The Pitru Dosha Pariharam will not deliver any results, if the ancestral properties or any type of assets are divided in an unequal manner.

7. The  Pitru Dosha Pariharam will not deliver any results, if any women in the family are bullied or harassed within the family.

8. The  Pitru Dosha Pariharam will not deliver any results, if those Pariharam are done with the money, which was earned through any unthical or immoral methods.

9. The  Pitru Dosha Pariharam will not deliver any results, if the family members isolate any particular member of the family, while doing the Shraddam or Tharpanam.

As per the Hindu Vedic Principles, anyone who creates or instrumental in creating a water body will attain moksha and his 21 future generations would enjoy his/her virtues. This will ensure complete protection to his offsprings and bless them with all the goodness in this life.

The creation of Water bodies like lakes, ponds, canals, tube wells, bore wells and water storage tanks that caters to the general public without any restrictions by any individual involved either directly or indirectly would bring enormous amount of Virtues to the concerned person, his family members and it is carried forward to the next 21 generations.

Similar way, if any one is instrumental in closing, destroying or polluting those water bodies would receive the Pitra Dosha that is carried forward to his/her next 21 generations.

Now let us come to the point. If you have to close a tube well or bore well in your house, do a Puja in your house and pray to both your anscestors and the God and seek their blessings. But do not build a bed room, living room, office, stair cases and toilets above that unused and closed tube wells or bore wells. Do not place any machinery above those closed wells inside a factory buildings. But you can always build a Puja room over these closed wells.

In the first place, cutting a tree or trees has to be avoided altogether. If that is not possible, for some geniune reasons, then the other options of relocating it must be tried. If that is also not possible, then following precaution has to be taken, before cutting a tree.

1. Must ensure that any bird has Nest or hatchlings are in the tree. If you find any hatchlings or the bird is in the verge of hatching, you must wait until the bird changes its locations.

2. Puja room or Prayer hall must be built over the place, where the tree had been standing.

3. You should never build a bedroom, living room or any business place above the place, where the tree had been standing.

4. You must do necessary puja before the commencement of removing a tree.

5. You should remember the cutting of the tree, by offering a special puja or/and prayer on the anniversary day.

This would ensure that you and your family members would not be troubled by the Pitra Dosha by cutting trees (that had been done out of necessity only).

Rearing a Pet animal invites some form of Pitra Dosha. Let us see a few examples of rearing a Pet animal.

1. Chaining the Dogs.

2. Caging the Birds.

3. Rearing Fish in a small glass jar.

4. Trimming the wings of the bird.

5. Locking up and tying up animals.

We are into a false opinion that we are in fact helping the birds/animals/fishes with a secure envronment to live. That is, we provide food, health care and physical security to those animals. But we strip the freedom, the fundamental rights of that animals to live freely. In one stroke, by caging a animal, we condemn them to life imprisonment on them. Thus we damage a Birth cycle of a soul; putting them into difficulties for our own selfish interests or happiness

If you really want to rear a pet animal means that you should be able to allow the animal to live in freedom as they do in the natural environment. Otherwise it would invite Pitra Dosha. Let us see the possible effects of Pitra Dosha for this type of Sins.

1. Caging a Bird/Chaining a animal
Results: 1. Could land up in Jail
                 2. Could face detention on temporary basis.

2. Trimming the Wings of a Bird/Making changes in Physical appearences of a Animal:
     Results: 1. Physical Disability
                  2. Physical/Mental disorder.

3. Rearing Fish in a Jar/Box:
Results: 1. Forced to live in cramped living space.
                  2. Damages to the existing living Place.

Just take a study on the life of peoples, who kept the Pet animals for longer time and not provided them any freedom to live. You will realize the truth behind it and start to value the importance of freedom even to your own Pets.

Everyone likes to know, what happens immediately after death?

What happens to the Inner mind & thoughts?

Would we just go into oblivion? (OR)

Would we experience a new life or a new experience?

The Hindu Vedas has clear answer to it. Let us find the sequence that happens immediately after death.

1. The Soul comes out of the body through any one of the nine openings that are in the human body. They are Eyes (2), Nose (2), Ear (2), Mouth (1), Private parts (2).

2. The People who are addicted towards the wordly pleasure would struggle to accept the reality that they are already dead; and the process could not be reversed. They struggle to get into their body to come back alive.

3. The People who had understood the ideals of spiritualism would readily accept their fate.

4. The Soul also gets a shape (body) which is called "Stuchama Body"; in this position, a Soul can move very fast, can hear what others speak, and see what is happening around it. But others can not see the Soul and can not hear what the Soul is willing to express.

5. The Soul with its Sutchama Body is not bounded by any physical laws. Thus it can penetrate the Solids. But it can not hold or handle any Materials.

6. The Soul with its Sutchsma body would look exactly like the Dead person at the time of his death.

7. Till the burial of the body, the Soul would stay near the Body only; hoping to get a chance to enter the body.

8. The Soul would come to the terms of the reality only after the burial is completed.

9. Thereafter the Soul stays 12 days in this World; preferably with its dear and near Ones.

10. During those 12 days, the Sons and Daughters have been given responsibilities. (We see the responsibility of both Son & Daughter later). Only if the Karma is done by both Son & Daughter for the ten day, the Soul would be able to get its original look & shape.

11. If the Karma is not done or not done properly, then the Soul would not regain its orginal body & shape.

12. The Soul would leave this Earth on the 13th day only.

Later, We would see every aspect of this issue in detail. But failure to do this karma by their offsprings would spell trouble to the remaining members of the family in the form of Pitra Dosha.

Pitra Dosha in the deadly form dawns on the 21 generations of the person who had committed the murder.

Let us see the who are all gets affected and type of troubles that would happen.

1. Those who had killed an another person for various benefits.

2. Those who has directly or indirectly aid a another person to commit a murder.

3. Those who induce or instigate directly or indirectly to commit a murder.

4. Those who give refuge a known killer or criminal.

5. Those who stand false testimony in defence of the murderer.

Let us see the type of murder that one can get reprieve from the God after necessary pujas.

1. Murder taking place on account of self defence.

2. Murder taking place to save the modesty of a women.

3. Murder taking place to save innocent peoples from the troubles.

Let us see the complete effects of Pitra Dosha that would fall on the heads of the Murder accused person.

1. The Pitra dosha in the severest form befall on the entire family of the accused.

2. Any one of the family member might be mentally retarded.

3. Unnatural death or accident happening in the family.

4. The Murder accused family gets disoriented and gets separated from one another in due course.

5. The worst incidents happening in sucession.

Everyone should remember that a killing a person damages the peacefulness of the next 21 generations of the family. If the killings are done on a women, aged, infant or infirm, then there are no God to help them to come out of this crisis. If a pregnant woman is killed then the accused person's family is doomed for the entire period.

There are many ethical issues involved in the business. But now a day, there are some systematic efforts to recognize the unethical Practices as of “Best Business Tactics”. Even Colleges have added some unethical practices as the Best Marketing Strategy. Let us first see, what are the ethical & unethical issues involved in the Business Activities.

1.       Paying bribes to get things done.

2.       Supplying sub-standard quality with full knowledge about the issues involved in it.

3.       Under valuation or Over Valuation of a Product.

4.       Deficient Quantity of agreed materials.

5.       Colluding with someone to swindle or defraud an individual or a business.

6.       Spreading false hood about a product or an enterprise owned by others.

7.       Spreading rumor about a non issue (OR) creating an issue to increase the Sales & Profits of a Product.

8.       Creating an artificial demand on a Product to boost profits; harassing everyone in this process.

Best Marketing Strategy does not mean that the business can be done on unethical terms. That would bring in huge money, but that also brings Pitra Dosha along with it.

This type of Pitra Dosha makes a business person to suffer the same level of agony, disappointment & defeat in his/her business life, that had been inflicted by him/her to an another person during the past period.

The Hindu Vedic Principles devise a timetable for every man & woman. According to it everyone is expected to follow this procedure.

1.       Everyone is expected to hand over their powers to their Sons or Daughters once they become mature enough to handle the family affairs.

2.       The Aged people should cling on to the God and not to their property. Only the God has the power to give them salvation. The Money & Property could be able to give imaginary security only; in fact, it creates all types of troubles for the Aged Peoples.

3.       The Aged People should divide their property on equal basis to their Sons & Daughters; they should not take decision on the basis of family and individual issues.

4.       The Aged people should divide their property, when they are physically fit; should not postpone the decision by believing that they would live for many years to come.

The crux of the problem is that anyone who fails to recognize the ascent of their Offspring’s and the failure to hand over or share power with them would eventually lead to misunderstanding with their Offspring and the In-laws. The Aged People should stay in the background and help their Son & Daughter to manage the family affairs thereafter.

Anyone who holds Business, Property and Power under his tight control, even after his/her Son is capable of looking after it, is actually doing great disservice to his/her family. Thus it would fasten the neglect of the Aged; which in turn would bring the sorrows to the future generations in the form of Pitra Dosha.

The Profession of Cooking is considered as "Noble", because they indirectly help others by feeding them. Hence they have greater responsibilities while performing these tasks. Failure to do so under some motivation, would take them directly to the courtyard of Pitra Dosha. Let us see the reason behind this type of Pitra Dosha. Cooks are expected to cook foods in the same manner as they do it for their own consumption.

1. If the food is cooked under unhygenic method.

2. If the sub-standard/adulterated materials are used for cooking.

3. If the food is prepared out of Stale material, fully knowing the consequences out of it.

4. The food should be served on a equal basis to everyone, irrespective of their importance. No separate type of food should be served to guests according to their status.

5. Food & Materials used for cooking should not be allowed to rot or decay; should not be wasted too in a lethargic or intentional manner.

If a Person who work as a Cook will be affected by Pitra Dosha, if they choose to disobey the "Vedic dictat" before them.

The Pitra Dosha or Pithru Dosham affects the farmers too. Let us see the reason behind these types of Pitra Dosha.

The Lands are given by the God to all living creature in these world. The Farmers are considered to be supreme because they are instrumental in feeding the billions of the peoples around the World. Hence the Farmers do not get affected by the Pitra Dosha or Pithru Dosham in general: but sometimes they get affected too.

1. Anyone converting a farmland into a wasteland.

2. Anyone keeping their farmlands idle for a very longer period.

3. Anyone instrumental in converting a farmland into a commercial land to gain monetarily.

4. Anyone blocking the free passage of Water meant for other Farmers to use.

These type of Peoples, whether they do farming or own a farmland gets affected by the curse of Pitra Dosha or Pithru Dosham.

There are certain standard codes are defined for those involved in Social Activity or anyone who has taken Social Service as their profession. The Lord Narayana tell us the benefits of involving ourselves to the service of mankind. First let us see the reason for getting benefits out of it.

1. Those who construct or instrumental in creating Waterbodies (Lakes, Canals, Wells and Borewells) meant for Public usage.

2. Those who construct or instrumental in building a Place of Worship or Place to Study.

3. Those who helps Elderly, Infirm, Destitutes and Children.

Those who does this Social services would free their previous 21 generations (departed ancestors) and the next 21 generations (future generations).from the Pitra Dosha or Pitra Dosham.

Let us see the actions of Social Activists that would sink them into Pitra Dosha.

1. Anyone who misuses the Land, Property, Products and Money meant for the above said people.

2. Anyone who cheats, harass or harm the above mentioned people.

Hence Pitra Dosha affects the NGO's who misuses their position would get double the punishment in the form of Pitra Dosha (Harsher level) than those commiting similar type of Sins. It is very difficult to erase the Pitra Dosha on NGO's; it is better to keep quiet rather than masquerading as an NGO.

Teaching & Educations are considered as Noble Jobs, because of its immense value to the mankind. Proper Education is the backbone of the entire mankind to eradicate the evil and to work towards salvation. Thus everyone, who are associated with teaching profession are considered as doing Noble Jobs. Thus the Educationalists have numerous responsbilities with them. Failure to adhere to the basic principles of Dharma (Vedic Principle), they inadverently embrace the Pitra Dosha.

Pitra Dosha affects the people for the following reasons.

1. Destruction of Schools; obstructing the passage meant for going to the School.

2. Enroaching upon the School grounds; misuse of School buildings & properties.

3. Teaching students without proper knowledge; or improper training.

4. The quality of teaching is fixed against the value of Money.

5. Improper view & handling of the students on the basis of their religion, caste, economic status and other unexplained reasons.

6. Misusing the Students for various purposes; thus depriving of their formal education leading to the darkness in their future life.

7. Physically or mentally abusing the Students; and those helps and abets this type of wrongdoings.

Teaching as a Profession is considered as Supreme to anything & everything else in the World. Schools are considered as equivalent to Temples. Teachers are considered as "Gurus". Thus anyone found to be violating this code of conduct would automatically drags their family into the clutches of Pitra Dosha.

By treating the Education as a money spinner, the person could walk to the Honey Trap that would wait for them in the form of Pitra Dosha.

Saturday, 27 October 2012

As earlier pointed out, the Medical Profession has been considered as Noble Jobs. Hence there are rules & regulation surrounds this Medical Profession. Let us see the ethical & moral code of conduct defined by the Vedas.

1. The quality of service should not be weighed against the quantum of money involved.

2. Lethargic attitude which leads to the loss of limbs or lives.

3. Motivated killing or allowing a person to die for want of proper Medicinal care.

4. Performing abortion to gain monetarily.

5. Unethical treatment for promoting self interest.

Here Medical Professionals includes Doctors and all type of Para Medics. If a Medical Professional indulges in this type of unethical method, he will earn enormous amount of Money along with huge Pitra Dosha or Pithru Dosham. He/She will bequeath not only his/her property, but also the curses in the form of Pithru Dosham or Pitra Dosha to their future generations.

Bribes not only brings in Money & Wealth; but alongside it brings the Pitra Dosha or Pithru Dosham, which directly attacks the offsprings of the person, who had received the Bribe.

Let us see the reason for Pitra Dosha or Pithru Dosham enveloping a person, who get Bribes. Bribes are given for an exchange of illegal, immoral or illegitimate favours. That is, by getting bribes the Person becomes an active partner in those immoral issues committed or initiated by someone else.

It is like paying and arranging for bombing of one's own citadel. Let us see the reason for the Pitra Dosha or Pithru Dosham.

1. Illegitimate favours (For Bribes) could have robbed of somebody's rightful share on a property/claims.

2. It could have destroyed an individual person's future or a fabric of a unknown family.

3. By committing illegal favours, the person (Who get bribes) wilfully & wrongfully gives his/her personal assurances to the illegal activities committed by someone else.

4. The actions of Bribe Getters could have disastrous consequences on a family (sometime leading to death) too.

The Pitra Dosha or Pithru Dosham does apply to Government Employees, Politicians and even those doing work in Private Institutions or work as an individual Professional.

There are various type of People, who call themselves as Spiritualists. Let us see, who can be really called Spiritualists.

People who work towards enlightment of themselves can be called as Spiritualists. Spiritual people can live with their life partner provided both of them works towards the same goal. The job of the life partner is to aid and help the Spritualists to realize the goal of enlightment and nothing more.

Next level of Spiritualists must forgo all the wordly pleasures and move themselves towards the God by helping everyone and every creature through the divine powers that has been gained by them during their first level of Spiritualism. They are not supposed to own anything and stay at the same place for more than one night.

Now let us see the reason for the Pitra Dosha (Pithru Dosham) afflicting the Spiritualists itself.

1. Spiritualists should not own anything either directly or indirectly.

2. The actions of the Spiritualists helps their family to amaze wealth either directly or indirectly

3. Indirect action means forming a Trust, where the family members become the Trust members too.

4. Indulging in Sexual & other immoral activities.

5. Using the Spiritualism for Commercial gains.

6. Promoting the personal interest through advertisement or through indirect inducement.

Those who call themselves as Spiritualists could end up in disaster, if they choose to disobey the Vedic principles. The Vedas clearly defines quantum of punishment for the Spiritualists.

1. The Spiritualists gain the benefit of donating a single cow for every single moral actions.

2. The Spiritualists earn the curse of killing two cows for every immoral actions.

Thus the Spiritualists earn enormous amount of Sins faster than the ordinary person committing the similar type of Sins. Thus Pitra Dosha or Pithru Dosham would be ready to jump to the shoulder of the Spiritualists, who chooses immoral path.

Please note that anyone aiding and abetting the crime of the Spiritualists would be in the same queue along with the Spiritualists for receiving the same amount of punishment in the form of Pitra Dosha or Pithru Dosham.

The Astrology is part of the Hindu Vedic teachings. Here the Astrology means analyzing the future through Horoscope Readings, based on the birth time of a Person. Astrology does not cover the prediction through various other methods. People and Media often confuse and call everyone as Astrologers. An Astrologer is the one, who can able to predict it through Horoscope Readings.

Pitra Dosha or Pithru Dosham gets afflicted on the Astrologers, who do not follow the rule of the game. Let us see the reason for it.

1. Predicting without proper knowledge.

2. Accuracy of Prediction should not be based on the Money offered by the peoples.

3. Astrologers should not use the Horoscope Readings for personal gains.
